I almost always use my debit card. I do occasionally carry cash, but it burns a hole in my pocket and it%26#039;s gone shortly after i%26#039;ve acquired it.

My mom doesn%26#039;t even have a debit card--she has just a regular ATM card, and she writes a lot of checks. Who takes checks anymore??

I know someone who does. A man I work with, He has a bank account but not a debit card. If he ever needs money he has to go into the bank and to the counter to withdraw cash. He pays for everything cash!

I really dont see this as a good idea. If youre ever stranded and the bank isnt open or accessible, you cant withdraw money from a cash point..Meaning you are in trouble.

Suffice to say this man is not very in control of his finances!%26quot;

aside from that I personally have heard of people not trusting banks because of the great depression and so forth.

I personally prefer plastic so I don%26#039;t have to carry money around it%26#039;s more convenient.
